Safety Notes: There are many things that are standard on the new cars today like airbags; in the new cars there are airbags in the front, side and rear of the car to protect all passengers. Antilock brakes are also new in cars today, but the one thing you have to remember about antilock brakes is that it requires a heavy force to be activated, not like before where we could just gently press on the brake.
Now there are built in child seats, and head restraints (this is great because it prevents the head from snapping back and forth in the case of an accident). The head restraints are being placed in the front and rear of the cars now. One last thing that is mandatory in all vehicles is safety belts. The best ones are the ones with lap and shoulder combos. When an accident happens it is good to have the safety of both. There are also auto crash tensions or belt webbing grabbers that can also be used to help tighten the seat belt in the case of an accident so there is less injury to the neck.
